Houthis say they fired 2 ballistic missiles at Ben Gurion Airport in overnight attack
Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis say they fired two ballistic missiles at Ben Gurion Airport overnight. The IDF said a ballistic missile fired at Israel was successfully intercepted by air defenses at around 2 a.m. The reason for the discrepancy in figures was unclear, but suggested that one had fallen short. Sirens had sounded across central Israel, sending hundreds of thousands to seek shelter in the middle of the night. Since March 18, when the IDF resumed its offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the Houthis in Yemen have launched 35 ballistic missiles and at least 10 drones at Israel.
