The power network operator has opened applications for its latest apprenticeship intake, offering 30 roles as part of its commitment to workforce development.
Apprentices will support efforts to upgrade and maintain electricity infrastructure across the region.
The programme offers a range of positions, including roles focused on maintaining underground power cables and overhead lines, as well as opportunities in cyber security, project management, design engineer, and IT.
The company's apprenticeship scheme has achieved a 90 per cent pass rate, well above the national average of 60 per cent.
Chris Havard, apprenticeship programme manager at SP Electricity North West, said: "We're proud to operate a growing, award-winning apprenticeship programme which develops talent across the North West region.
"Each year, we go from strength to strength, we listen to apprentices, take feedback on board to ensure we provide the best possible programme for our students.
"Our success rate speaks for itself and we've a diverse range of roles on offer.
"All of our apprentices that have qualified have been offered full-time roles within the business and we're excited to receive a variety of applications from across the region."
The news follows a recent Government announcement forecasting more than 400,000 new clean energy jobs nationwide by 2030.

More than 100 apprentices are currently employed by the company at various stages of their training.
