Back in January of 2015, Marquette University President Dr. Michael Lovell announced that the unversity had plans to build an athletics fieldhouse south of Straz Tower on campus.

It is now May 2025, and not a single shovel towards building anything for athletics has touched the ground in that area.

Seemed like a good idea to put together a round-up spot for all of the articles that we've written on that topic over the years, up to and including our brand new photojournalism entry showing that maaaaaaaaybe the proposed soccer stadium and new home for Marquette soccer & lacrosse is a lot further off than the developers want you to believe.
