An Olympic gold medal-winning wrestler has been arrested in a prostitution sting.
Kyle Snyder, one of the most successful wrestlers in U.S. history, was charged with engaging in prostitution in Columbus on May 9, according to the Associated Press.
Snyder became the youngest American wrestler to win Olympic gold at age 20 during the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro.
He then won a silver medal in Tokyo in 2021 before losing the bronze medal match in Paris last summer.
He was a three-time NCAA champion at Ohio State and has won three world championships.
The Real American Freestyle wrestling league announced last week that Snyder was part of its lineup.
The league, with pro wrestling icon Hulk Hogan as the commissioner, is slated to hold its first event in Cleveland on Aug. 30.
