KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee has announced its 2025 home football game designations after season tickets sold out for the third straight year.
The SEC home opener against Georgia on Sept. 13 will feature the ninth Checker Neyland game.
That game will also include the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute for former Vols defensive tackle John Henderson. The two-time first-team All-American and 2000 Outland Trophy winner will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in December.
Tennessee will host Arkansas on Oct. 11 for Champions Weekend. The fourth annual event will honor past teams and individuals who won SEC or NCAA championships and celebrate significant anniversaries.
Homecoming is set for Nov. 15, when the Vols face New Mexico State. The game will also serve as the annual Salute to Service, which recognizes service members, veterans and their families.
Senior Day will take place during the regular-season finale against Vanderbilt on Nov. 29. Excluding the 2020 COVID-shortened season, it marks the 10th consecutive year the two teams are set to close the regular season against each other.
