THREE LIMERICK clubs are gearing up for provincial duties with St Ailbe's, Monagea and Father Casey's all involved in Munster championship action.

Limerick Ladies senior champions St Ailbe's made it back-to-back titles earlier this month with a six-point win over Monagea in Knocklong. Goals in either half from Eimear Ryan and Orla Ryan proved decisive for the east Limerick outfit in securing their victory, on a 2-5 to 0-5 scoreline.

Their reward for that county final victory is a Munster Intermediate championship clash with Moycarkey-Borris from Tipperary on Sunday at 3.30pm, venue to be confirmed.

Monagea, who St Ailbe's defeated in the Limerick decider will have Munster Senior 'B' matters to contend with when they travel to The Kingdom to face Na Gaeil of Tralee on Saturday , in what is sure to be a stern test for the west Limerick outfit, venue to be confirmed.

Father Casey's will be competing in the Munster Junior Championship after the West Limerick side claimed the Limerick Intermediate crown against Knockainey in Garryspillane earlier this month on a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-9.

The Abbeyfeale-based side will play Doheny's of Dunmanway in Cork on Sunday at 2pm. Like St Ailbe's and Monagea, a venue and time was to be confirmed.
