DENVER -- A beloved holiday tradition is returning to the Mile High City.
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) Theatre Company will stage "A Christmas Carol" from Friday, Nov. 21, through Sunday, Dec. 28, at the Wolf Theatre at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
Based on Charles Dickens' classic novel, the Denver musical adaptation traces curmudgeon Ebenezer Scrooge's triumphant overnight journey to redemption. DCPA announced David Studwell will star as Scrooge.
"Every year, we return to this timeless story not just for its festive spirit, but for its enduring message of hope," said DCPA Artistic Director Chris Coleman. "'A Christmas Carol' is more than a holiday tradition, and it is an honor to share this joyous story with our audiences and to celebrate the magic of transformation that lives at the heart of the season."
