Mumbai: After facing backlash for wearing a hijab, Deepika Padukone is now being seen trolling hubby Ranveer Singh for his unshaved beard in the new Abu Dhabi Tourism ad.

The celebrity couple, brand ambassadors of Abu Dhabi Tourism, opted for roleplay as they get ready for a dinner date on their wedding anniversary.

When Ranveer arrives for dinner, Deepika, who is already waiting at the restaurant, fondly calls him, "Bond...." and then adds, "who forgot to shave", leaving him in splits.

Ranveer says, "In any case, this roleplay stuff is too cheesy."

The video was shared on Reddit with the caption, "Abu Dhabi Diaries ft. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh."

Reacting to the post, a fan commented, "How beautiful she looks in red, every time."

Another user posted, "Deepika and Ranveer, please come together for a rom-com."

One person wrote, "I would so love to see them in something light-hearted, happy ending wala movie."

"Dua's mummy papa looks stunning," said another Reddit user.

A social media user said, "Okay, Deepika in that red dress looks ethereal, the chemistry is a chef's kiss, duhhh that's so obvious."

Earlier this month, Deepika was trolled by haters for wearing an abaya in the first ad of Abu Dhabi Tourism.

On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan's 'King', helmed by Siddharth Anand. The film also stars Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan, among others.

The actress will also star in Atlee's upcoming film 'AA22xA6', alongside Allu Arjun.

Ranveer, on the other hand, will be seen in spy-thriller 'Dhurandhar', directed by Aditya Dhar. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
