An earthquake felt in Dhaka and several other parts of Bangladesh around 5:15 pm today, Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Meteorological, the earthquake center was located in the Indian province of Asam, about 380 km from Dhaka.
"According to our initial records, the earthquake measured 5.8 on the Richter scale."
While the meteorological department reported 5.8, the USGS (USGS) reported that the earthquake remained 5.9.
