Most parts of the country will experience cloudy skies with rains and thunderstorms due to the low pressure area and easterlies Monday.
State weather bureau PAGASA said as of 2 a.m., September 15, the LPA being monitored inside the Philippine area of responsibility has an "unlikely" chance to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
In its 24-hour public weather forecast issued at 4 a.m., PAGASA said the LPA was spotted 235 km West of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Western Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA.
Easterlies, on the other hand, will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Cagayan Valley and extreme Northern Luzon.
The rest of the country will also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned the public against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains or severe thunderstorms. -- AOL, GMA Integrated News
