OMAHA, Neb. (KCAU) -- AAA has announced the time frame for their Tow to Go service during the end of the year holidays.
Tow to Go will become available starting on December 24 at 6 p.m. and will be available until January 2 at 6 a.m.
Tow to Go offers an option for people who may have had to much to drink during the holidays to have a safe way home.
In an effort to keep impaired drivers off the road, Tow to Go offers a free towing service that will transport one person and their vehicle to a safe location within 10 miles of where they've been picked up. Tow to Go may not be available in certain rural areas or during severe weather.
Appointments cannot be scheduled for Tow to Go as its seen as a last resort and AAA encourages drivers to be safe and not drink or find a designated driver.

Tow to Go is available in Iowa and Nebraska as well as Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Dakota, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Colorado, North Carolina, and Indiana.
