The magic of Arendelle is set to hit the stage this November as young performers bring Disney's Frozen JR. to life in Weston-super-Mare.
The Blakehay Theatre will host five performances of the junior adaptation of Disney's blockbuster film, spread across three days -- from Friday, November 28 to Sunday, November 30 -- with a different group of young performers taking the lead in each show.
Audiences can expect all the fan-favourite characters and iconic songs, including "Love Is an Open Door," "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" and the global anthem "Let It Go", as well as songs from the Broadway version of the hit movie.
The production will be staged by students aged six to eighteen from Stagecoach Performing Arts Weston-super-Mare, with three separate casts from the school's Friday and Saturday sessions. The schedule is as follows:
Friday, November 28 at 7pm - students from the Friday school performing in their first theatre show Saturday, November 29 at 2.30pm and 6pm - students from the Saturday school with Stage 3 students in lead roles Sunday, November 30 at 2.30pm and 6pm - Saturday students return with Further Stages students taking the lead
Patrick McIntyre, principal of Stagecoach Weston-super-Mare, said: "This is without doubt our biggest and most exciting production yet. We're so proud of our students, from our youngest newcomers to our seasoned performers - who have worked incredibly hard to bring this story to life. To see them performing together on a professional stage is always a special moment."
Tickets are currently on sale exclusively to Stagecoach families and will open to the general public in early November via Ticketsource.
All performances will take place at The Blakehay Theatre, 20 Wadham Street, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1JZ.
