CHERRY VALLEY -- Quarterback Brody Parker connected with Easton Vaccaro to turn a fourth-down play into a 15-yard touchdown that helped Palestine-Wheatley (2-0) win a tight game over Cross County (1-1).

The Patriots' Adron Cooper had an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Andrew Knowlton led the defense with a fumble recovery and an interception.
