AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 Processor Appears on PassMark Benchmark w/ Radeon 860M

As of December 18, the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor has been added to the PassMark benchmark database, according to IT Home. This processor includes Radeon 860M graphics and utilizes a combination of four high-performance cores and four energy-efficient cores. It is expected to be the top model in AMD's "Kraken Point" series. In PassMark tests, the Ryzen AI 7 350 achieved a single-thread performance score of 3,919 points. This represents approximately a 3.6% improvement over the previous generation Ryzen 7 8845HS, which scored 3,782 points.

The single-thread performance of the Ryzen AI 7 350 is comparable to the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360, which scored 3,977 and 3,998 points respectively. However, in multi-threaded tests, the Ryzen AI 7 350 scored 21,127 points, significantly lower than the Ryzen 7 8845HS's 28,806 points. This discrepancy suggests that the initial benchmark results may have some limitations.

PassMark's technical data shows that the Ryzen AI 7 350 operates at a base frequency of 2.0 GHz and can boost up to a maximum frequency of 5.0 GHz. The processor has a default Thermal Design Power of 45 watts and can be configured to use as little as 15 watts. These frequency settings align with the previously identified 4+4 core "Kraken Point" sample tested in GeekBench, although the Ryzen AI 7 350's maximum frequency is approximately 50 MHz lower.
