BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - June is Homeownership Month, and the Louisiana Housing Corporation has multiple events planned to help people achieve their dreams of owning a home.

One of the main events planned for the month is the 2nd Annual Taste of Home. The event will take place on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Louisiana Housing Corporation's headquarters on Quail Drive in Baton Rouge.

According to organizers, Taste of Home is open to the public and will offer people an opportunity to learn about the homeownership process, building up your credit score, and applying for financial help to purchase a home.
