Netflix has released the trailer for an upcoming natural disaster thriller from South Korea that looks like a must-watch
Netflix has just unveiled a trailer for what might become one of their finest new films this year.
The forthcoming natural disaster thriller appears tailor-made for enthusiasts of movies like The Day After Tomorrow or Twisters.
Plus, it's been crafted in South Korea under the direction of Kim Byung-woo, featuring some recognisable stars in the cast, making it essential viewing for audiences yearning for fresh Squid Game episodes.
The film even showcases Park Hae-soo, who appeared in the debut series of Netflix's acclaimed K-drama, alongside Itaewon Class star Kim Da-mi.
Called The Great Flood, the trailer hints at an enormous battle for survival against overwhelming circumstances when the entire planet becomes engulfed beneath water, reports the Mirror.
The synopsis states: "A great flood engulfs the world. In the midst of a massive catastrophe, water rises inside an apartment building.
"With no hope in sight, one person fights desperately to save a child."
Launching just ahead of Christmas on Friday, 19th December, the movie promises to deliver a tension-filled experience for the festive period once younger family members have retired for the evening.
Viewers are already expressing enthusiasm for the thriller, rushing to leave comments after Netflix posted the new trailer on YouTube.
