Bruce Springsteen was back on the set of "Deliver Me from Nowhere" alongside Jeremy Allen White, who plays a young Springsteen in the film.
Springsteen has been a regular presence during production of the movie, which started in New Jersey in October.
Whether in Bayonne, Rahway, Rockaway, Asbury Park or beyond, the original Boss has often showed up to take in the scene. He's hugged White, his onscreen counterpart, signed scripts for members of the cast and crew and become part of the everyday workings of the production. He has also been game to give signatures to fans that have gathered to watch the filming.
On set Thursday in Asbury Park, Springsteen, 75, was bundled up outside Convention Hall, wearing two hats and a scarf with his leather jacket.
Standing on the rocks above the surf, White, 33, wore another leather jacket, the kind Springsteen would don with jeans and boots in the 1980s.
And it's clear that Asbury Park plays a supporting role.

Springsteen's old haunt as a young singer-songwriter will be part of the movie written and directed by Scott Cooper ("Crazy Heart," "The Pale Blue Eye," "Antlers," "Black Mass").
The Stone Pony was given a little makeover for the occasion, with the marquee outside listing the band Cats on a Smooth Surface -- a house band at the venue that would play there with Springsteen -- as well as Stir Crazy and JP Gotrock.

Harrison Sloan Gilbertson ("Oppenheimer") portrays Springsteen's friend Matt Delia in the film.
The title of the book and film comes from "State Trooper," a song on "Nebraska":
"Hey, somebody out there, listen to my last prayer," Springsteen sings. "Hiho silver-o, deliver me from nowhere."
