Stoke City are apparently keeping tabs on in-form Casa Pia winger Jeremy Livolant.
The 27-year-old has scored three and set up another two in his last five matches in the Portuguese top flight as Casa Pia try to climb towards mid-table.
It has led to speculation about who might be watching in the Portuguese press, with his club having reportedly turned down approaches earlier this year and insisted he is not for sale.
But A Bola claims that Stoke and clubs from Italy, Brazil and France are watching with interest - although the story loses its impact when it is also suggested that Sheffield Wednesday are also among the suitors.
Wednesday might have had the former France youth international on their radar at some stage but they are currently under six EFL registration embargoes due to issues with paying wages.
Still, Stoke have had scouts in Portugal over the last year, watching summer signing Robert Bozenik in action for Boavista.
A Bola write: "Our newspaper knows that the player was the target of contacts at the beginning of the season and always with the same response - negative - from the club.
"Livolant is well placed on the agenda of clubs such as Stoke City and Sheffield Wednesday, from England - who were already following him even before he signed for Casa Pia, just over a year ago - as well as Catanzaro and Vasco da Gama.
"He is also appreciated in his home country, where he boasts a strong reputation, built during his time with clubs such as Guingamp and the historic Bordeaux - but his performance and maturity make him indispensable to Casa Pia."
