The Omaha World Herald has released its all state volleyball selections for 2024. Taryn Arbuthnot of SEM was a Class D2 First Team all state selection. Arbuthnot led SEM with 539 kills this season helping lead the Lady Mustangs to a district final. Sandhills/Thedford's Laney Dahlberg was a Class D2 Second Team all state selection. Dahlberg led S/T with 350 kills this season as the Lady Knights finished 19-13 and qualified for a district final. Kerry Ryan of Ansley/Litchfield was a Class D1 Second Team all state selection. Ryan led the team with 446 kills this season as the Lady Spartans finished 21-11, and qualified for a district final.
