Even when times are good, young people often struggle to land their first job. But the youth employment rate (for those 15 to 24) recently rose to the highest level in about 15 years, excluding the first years of the pandemic.

Young Canadians and fresh graduates across the country are facing one of the toughest labour markets in years, driven by factors including an uncertain economic outlook because of the U.S.-driven trade war and the rise of artificial intelligence.
