A tragic incident has occurred at a recreation center in Ayrınc village, Shahbuz district of Nakhchivan, APA's Nakhchivan bureau reports.

A platform on the water collapsed at the center, leaving three people dead. One of the victims died on the way to the hospital. Reports indicate that the deceased were relatives.

Following the incident, family members accompanying the ambulance to the hospital were involved in a road accident.

As a result of the crash, Nakhchivan city residents Tural Hüseynov (born in 1983) and his son Nicat Hüseynov (born in 2007) sustained injuries and were taken to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hospital for treatment.

Authorities have launched investigations into both the platform collapse and the subsequent road accident.
