Three people are displaced after a fire broke out at a home in Canton Wednesday.
Chief Wendell Robery said firefighters responded for reports of a fire on Oak Hill Drive shortly after 1 p.m.
Officials said residents were inside when the fire started, and said flames were spotted near the solar panels on the roof.
Firefighters said the fire began moving into the house, but the flames were quickly extinguished.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters said they noticed two squirrels were dead under the panels.
"It looks like they likely contributed to the fire," said Deputy Chief Ed Freitas.
