The Anaheim Police Department arrested a 19-year-old for a deadly shooting in late February.
Orange resident Lawrence Romero was booked into jail for murder after detectives tracked him down on March 4, nearly a week after he allegedly killed another driver.
Anaheim detectives said the deadly shooting happened on Thursday, Feb. 27, along Ball Road, west of Sunkist Avenue. When officers and firefighters arrived at the area, they found 32-year-old Anthony Aceves Espino unconscious in the driver's seat of his vehicle.
First responders tried to provide first aid to Espino's gunshot wound before driving him to the hospital. He died shortly after arriving to the emergency room.
Homicide detectives and investigators from the department's gang unit worked through the weekend to locate Romero, according to Anaheim PD.
They will soon present their case to the Orange County District Attorney's Office for prosecution. Detectives did not release any other details on the case, describing it as an ongoing investigation.
