For months, there have been rumors that Leica will launch a new variant of the Leica M11 before the end of the year. Specifically, the new model supposedly replaces the rangefinder with an electronic viewfinder. The Chinese online shop M&K Kamera has now published a first rather pixelated screenshot on Instagram that apparently shows a part of the product page for the Leica M11-V.

Although the new Leica camera was pixelated, it is easy to see that the design is almost exactly the same as the Leica M11. But as expected, the two windows for the rangefinder are missing. The slider on the front, which usually selects the rangefinder frame lines, is said to offer two programmable functions to adjust the display of the electronic viewfinder. According to M&K Kamera, the Leica M11-V will be delivered starting in November, and the retailer is already accepting reservations, but details on the price have not been confirmed at this time.
