VALPARAISO -- The Porter County Sheriff's Department is seeking help locating a 40-year-old Valparaiso man last seen Aug. 8.

The missing individual is Christopher Stickels, police said.

He is 5 feet 10 inches in height and weighs 175 pounds.

He was last seen at the Liberty Farms Mobile Home Park along U.S. 6, according to police.

"He is believed to be on foot," police said.

Anyone spotting him or aware of his whereabouts is encouraged to call the police.
