Every office has that one coworker who can't seem to stop snooping around the communal fridge. It's safe to assume that this person is likely the culprit behind missing lunches and snacks that were very much not up for grabs. Here's the thing about communal office snacks: Unless someone has specifically explained that their food is up for mass consumption, don't take what isn't yours. Otherwise, you'll experience the fallout, which in this case meant that the lunch thief in question would end up unknowingly eating spicy food.
With this in mind, when was the last time you were tricked into eating something that was inexplicably too hot for you? I tend to think I have a decent tolerance for spicy, but just last night, I found myself accidentally falling apart after a mouth-watering and seemingly endless experience from the spicy fries I ordered. At least I was in the privacy of my own home, unlike this coworker. I may not be able to identify with the lunch thief in question, but I can certainly empathize with the experience of eating something far more spicy than one's palate can handle.
