Nike's Remastered Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble Sneaker Gets a Brand New Look for Fall

Nike's remastered Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble sneaker is getting ready for fall.

A new fall-friendly colorway of the retuned retro running sneaker recently surfaced in official product images. The upcoming style uses the Air Max 95's classic gray gradient fade color blocking, filling in the lace loop and branding accents with a Medium Olive shade. The look is the latest 2025 Air Max 95 releases to use the model's original synthetic suede gradient color blocking after well-received Neon, Bright Mandarin and Blue Spark releases. Also on the horizon is a return of the sneaker's Solar Red style.

This new Medium Olive 95 OG Big Bubble colorway doesn't reinvent the wheel, but that's precisely why it works so well. Although many of this year's Air Max 95s have been met with acclaim, it's the gray gradient looks that have generated the most attention -- collaborations withstanding. While the previous colors were familiar looks, the pair featured here marks the first time this particular Medium Olive shade has graced details of the 1995 runner.

Nike has gone all-out for the 's 30th anniversary. Originally released in '95, the sneaker's profile shifted on reissues over the decades, a byproduct of new factories, materials and manufacturing techniques. Purists opined that the shoe's key feature, its visible Air cushioning, had gotten smaller and less comfortable as the years went on. Nike heard these complaints and reworked the entire shoe for '25, resulting in noticeably larger Air windows and an upper that was reshaped to more closely resemble the original version.

"After comparing this year's retro to the original from '95, they really brought back the original shape and last from that era...it actually makes a huge difference when wearing, both visibly and physically," Kith founder Ronnie Fieg wrote on X in April.

Despite the arrival of e-commerce images, an exact release date for the OG Big Bubble Medium Olive has not yet been confirmed. Its full colorway of Black/White/Reflect Silver/Medium Olive and its style code is HJ5996-003. The pair will be released in women's sizing this holiday season for a retail price of $190 from Nike Snkrs and select Nike Sportswear retailers
