Four-star PG Kalek House commits to Xavier

The 6-foot-3 point guard out of Compass Prep (AZ) chose Richard Pitino and the Musketeers over offers from Wake Forest, Oklahoma State, Washington, and others.

House is ranked as the No. 105 overall player in the nation, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. He's also the No. 15 ranked point guard.

House is the son of former NBA player Eddie House. He's also the younger brother of Jaelen House, who played for Richard Pitino at New Mexico.

Kalek House went in-depth on his commitment to Xavier with Rivals.

"I chose Xavier because it felt like home and I trust the whole coaching staff with helping me get to the next level and be the best version of myself on and off the court. Every coach on the staff is experienced with years of coaching and winning at an elite level."

In his own words, what type of player is Xavier getting in Kalek House?

"I'm a knockdown shooter with high level defense and good playmaking that creates for others. I do anything to win."
