Christmas Around the World
This special event that takes place from today through Jan. 4 will feature a tubing hill, a miniature golf course, entertainment, a 52-foot Christmas tree, and a special Glockenspiel adapted for the holiday season. Carlos Jones Holiday Revival
The local reggae hero brings his annual post-Christmas holiday show back to the Music Box. The Jamaican-born, Cleveland-based Sun Shade opens the show. It begins at 7:30 p.m.

13th Annual Home for the Holidays
This annual event at Hilarities gives the stage over to Cleveland comedians who've moved elsewhere but have come home for the holidays. The lineup will be determined on the day of the show. Doors open at 9 p.m.

John Caparulo
John Caparulo, known as Cap, got his start on the Cleveland circuit in the late '90s. He plays the role of the dumb hillbilly, but his narrative jokes are well thought-out and his comic timing is impeccable. In 2013, he issued Come Inside of Me, a collection of some of his best jokes, including his lengthy bit about the first time he went skydiving. Expect to hear some of that material tonight when he performs at 7 at Hilarities, where he has shows scheduled through Sunday.

Red Wanting Blue
The regional rock act returns to House of Blues for a special end-of-year show. This marks the group's first show in Cleveland since releasing its latest album, Light It Up, and a faithful cover of Warren Zevon's "Lawyers, Guns and Money" that finds singer Scott Terry doing his best to emulate Zevon's distinctively raspy voice. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

Tape B
Tape B, who plays dubstep and hip-hop, leads the list of EDM artists who'll perform tonight at the Agora. Eazybaked, Super Future, and STVSH share the bill. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra
This year's tour by the rock act famous for turning Christmas music into arena rock fodder marks the return of the Lost Christmas Eve, an earlier concert theme that the band will bring back to the road for the first time in more than 10 years. As always, there will be pyrotechnics and lasers, and a second set will feature TSO favorites. The group comes to the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse today for performances at 3 and 7:30 p.m.

Kym Whitley
Cleveland native Kym Whitley got a break when she was cast as Auntie Suga in the 2000 film Next Friday. Since then, she has appeared in The Nutty Professor, Along Came Polly and dozens of other films. Whitley likes to crack jokes about the challenges of motherhood during her standup routines. She performs at 7 and 9:30 tonight and at 6:30 and 9 tomorrow night at the Funny Bone.

The 2nd Annual Legendary Soul Jam
New Stylistics featuring Russell Thompkins Jr., the Dramatics featuring LJ Reynolds and Enchantment featuring Emanuel EJ Johnson -- soul groups from back in the day -- will perform as part of this annual tour that rolls into the State Theatre tonight at 7.

California Speedbag with special guest Chris Yarmock
California Speedbag, the local alt-country act that played around town in the 1980s, will hold this special concert at the Beachland Ballroom to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the passing of its driving force, singer-songwriter Gary Lupico, who died in 2004 at age 49. Titled Lost Again: The Music of Gary Lupico, the concert will feature a night of live music celebrating Lupico's songs. The show begins at 7 p.m.

Christmakwanzakah 2024

God Save the Kinks!
Local rockers Cats on Holiday pay tribute to the Kinks with this special show that'll likely feature their renditions of tunes such as "You Really Got Me," "All Day and All of the Night," "Waterloo Sunset" and "Come Dancing." The music begins at 7 p.m. at Forest City Brewery.

Hats for the Homeless
Tonight, the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights will host a night of rock and reggae aimed to benefit homeless individuals while also showcasing the voice of one local vendor trying to better the world with her art. For each hat sold during the show, Rebecca Kimble of Rebecca's Hats will donate another to a local homeless shelter. Acts scheduled to perform include Ziggy D of C-Level, Shake Ground, Lake Irie and Dead Beat Horse. Doors open at 7:30.

Monsters vs. Grand Rapids Griffins

Gene Schwartz & the G-Force
The Hall of Fame drag racer and accomplished bass guitarist toured Europe and Japan with the late Robert Lockwood Jr. and played with his brother, Glenn Schwartz, for many years. Recently, he formed a new three-piece ensemble. The blues rock group performs tonight at 8 at the Beachland Tavern.

The Second Annual Hammy New Year

Jokes on You
Inspired by crowd work clinicians like Dave Attell, Ian Bagg, and Big Jay Oakerson, Jokes On You makes the audience the center of the show by "pushing comics to avoid prepared material or written jokes and instead focus on organic interaction with the audience," as it's put in a press release about this event, which takes place tonight at 7 at Hilarities. John Bruton and Jimmie Graham host the event.
