Who? Si Robertson rose to popularity through the show Duck Dynasty. He was somewhat of an unexpected star on the program after being introduced as Uncle Si. He was a reed maker for duck calls and had a magnetism that drew people to him.
He has also starred as the co-host of the Duck Call Room podcast. On this show, he's been open about his ailing health. From years of smoking, he now has damaged lungs. A recurring case of COPD has hospitalized Si Robertson numerous times over the years. 40 years of smoking will do that to a man. Keeping Spirits High
This is the second time Si Robertson has been hospitalized for his breathing issues. Over the years, he has had one lung in particular that just can't keep up. As a result, he has often been seen with a breathing apparatus.
Now, he's back in the hospital, needing closer attention from medical staff. "Yes, Uncle Si is in the hospital. He's doing very well but was having a little trouble whooping a severe sinus infection," the Duck Dynasty team shared on Instagram.
But, despite his predicament, the crew is staying positive and showing their uncle the support he needs.
"He's very much on the mend and will be discharged soon," they continued. "It's awesome to be surrounded by guys who practice what they preach." They shared a picture of Si Robertson in his hospital bed, looking weak, but still smiling under that huge Duck Dynasty beard.

His years of smoking have taken a toll on his lungs. Some people can get away with the habit, but often it'll end up with some adverse effects on breathing. For Si, he is now paying for his 40 years of heavy inhalation.
He's often seen with breathing assistance equipment. This has often raised questions as to his health. But, it's just a result of his one ailing lung. It's nothing too serious, but it does require a little attention here and there and does make him susceptible to the occasional lung infection.
