Taylor Russell has landed the lead female role in the upcoming The Thomas Crown Affair movie opposite Michael B. Jordan!
The two actors will star in a reimagining of the classic story, which was originally a movie in 1968 with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, as well as a remake in 1999 with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.
Deadline reports that there was an extensive casting process to find Michael's co-star and that Taylor went through "meetings, auditions and ultimately a screen test with Jordan in London at the top of the year."
Not only is Michael starring in the film, he's also directing the project. He previously made his directorial debut with 2023's Creed III and he's also directing the upcoming sequel Creed IV.
Plot details for the new version of The Thomas Crown Affair are being kept under wraps, but the 1999 remake follows "a very rich and successful playboy who amuses himself by stealing artwork, but may have met his match in a seductive detective."
Michael has a highly-anticipated movie that is hitting theaters in April!
