Costco has issued a recall for its popular Kirkland Signature Prosecco sparking wine because the bottles pose a shattering risk.

According to AllRecipes, the unopened bottles of the prosecco have a risk of shattering even when they are not "handled or in use."

According to an alert on the Costco website, the bottles of prosecco were sold at Costco stores in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

In a letter on its website, Costco is warning customers who have unopened bottles of the prosecco not to open them. Instead, patrons should dispose of the unopened bottles by wrapping them in a towel or plastic wrap before placing them in the garbage to avoid the risk of shattered glass. Customers should bring the letter to Costco to get a full refund on the bottles.

Macaroni and cheese product recalled due to undeclared allergen

A popular vegan macaroni and cheese product is being recalled due to the presence of undeclared allergens.

California-based Gooder Foods, Inc. is recalling five lots of Vegan Is Believin' - Plant Based White Cheddar with Spirals because they may contain milk, which is not listed on the label. The company is also recalling three lots of Here Comes Truffle - Creamy Truffle Flavored Cheddar and Shells, because they may contain cashew, which is not listed on the label. The recalled lots were produced between April 7 and April 15, 2025, according to a health alert from the Food and Drug Administration.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk and or cashew may run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products, according to the health alert.
