PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Almost three years later, police are still investigating the homicide of Whitney Chavez.

The Pueblo Police Department said officers responded to the 900 block of East 7th Street, east of Fountain Creek, for a report of a shooting on August 30, 2022.

Pueblo Police said Chavez was found unconscious with a gunshot wound and died at the scene.

Police say they are still seeking information on the suspect.
