Park goers can look forward to a selection of innovative food and drinks -- from the Mario Burger to the Northern Lights Martini
Calling all theme park foodies! Prepare to dig into some of the most mouthwatering themed cuisine during your visit to Epic Universe.
Ahead of its highly-anticipated grand opening on Thursday, May 22, PEOPLE has compiled a roundup of all the must-try food and drinks across the park's five themed lands: Celestial Park, Dark Universe, Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic and How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk.
Universal Orlando calls the food scene at the new park "an attraction in and of itself," with over 100 menu items being offered to guests across its 30 dining locations, according to a press release from the park.
Park goers will not want to miss out on the array of colorful dishes and mystical beverages that are designed to "satisfy every palate" during their trip.
Located inside the Toad House at Super Nintendo World, the Toadstool Cafe offers this stacked burger which includes a beef patty topped with American cheese, bacon, mushrooms, lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun. It's also served with a side of truffle fries, and there's even a vegetarian option for the burger too. The miniature red Mario hat on top ties the whole meal together!
The sea-themed restaurant offers guests the option to try out this glittering cocktail at Celestial Park. A mix of vodka, Limoncello, dry Curaçao, lemon juice, and simple syrup melt together to create a refreshing beverage for park goers ages 21 and over. In the center of the colorful drink is a butterfly pea blossom ice sphere topped with gold luster dust.
For "vikings on the go," these loaded mac & cheese cones are an absolute must-try for guests visiting the How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk land. Park goers can opt for the "Classic Mac and Cheese" flavor, which offers rich mac & cheese topped with fish-shaped crackers inside a crunchy cone. They could also go for the PB&J option -- pork, bacon and jam -- or the Dragon Fire Chicken Spire which includes a spicy mix of hot honey, Calabrian peppers, chimichurri, crispy onions and pulled chicken.
To cool off on a hot park day, Yoshi's smoothies at Super Nintendo World are definitely the way to go. The blended, fruit-based drinks come in two refreshing flavors, including mango and apple melon. Guests can find the colorful beverages at Yoshi's Snack Island located at the base of Mount Beanpole.
Step inside the Darkmoor Village monster hunters' favorite pub at Dark Universe and try this bubbling concoction. The Monocane Mocktail potion can be served inside a souvenir lab glass and features a mysterious green hue that park goers will have to see for themselves.
Inside De Lacy's Cottage at Dark Universe is another fun find -- the Frank & Friends Pretzel. Park goers can find the Frankenstein-shaped snack that will likely be as big as their faces here, as well as the white cheese dipping sauce it's paired with. The cottage is located near Frankenstein Manor in Darkmoor Village.
