Manager's 'shock' after spotting rock icon at history talk

The manager of a popular tourist attraction in Worcestershire has experienced an "unforgettable" moment after spotting a rock icon at one of his history talks.

In a post on social media, Harvington Hall, which is located between Kidderminster and Bromsgrove, said manager Phil Downing had a shock while giving a talk on Priest Hides when he spotted Robert Plant in the audience.

Harvington Hall said Mr Downing, who is a fan of Led Zeppelin, had "quite the surprise".

In a post, Harvington Hall said: "Hall manager Phil had quite the surprise while giving a talk on Priest Hides, spotting none other than Robert Plant in the audience.

"As a huge Led Zeppelin fan, seeing the local legend in person was an unforgettable moment

"Just goes to show, history and rock 'n' roll have more in common than you might think."

People were quick to share their delight at the post on social media with many people calling Plant a "local legend".

Gail Thomas added: "I'm sure he learned a lot from your talk."
