Residents and local businesses are invited to a community celebration to mark the progress of the Shaping Edmonton programme, a commitment to imrpoving Edmonton, providing greater opportunities to young people, and creating safer and cleaner streets.

The Shaping Edmonton Community Event will take place on 30 October at Fore Street Living Room Library and Leeds Street and will feature family-friendly workshops for younger people during the half-term school break, a pop-up market, cultural performances and opportunities to learn more about the exciting projects already underway.

Over the past year, we've worked closely with residents, schools and community groups to achieve real improvements in the area. Our work reflects the priorities of the people who live and work in Edmonton. The community event is part of a wider programme funded by £11.9 million from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, and delivered in partnership with Enfield Council, Greater London Authority, Transport for London and the Metropolitan Police.

Residents are encouraged to attend, share their ideas and be part of shaping the future of Edmonton. Free refreshments will be available. All ages are welcome.
