CHARLESTON, W.Va. -State Supreme Court Justice Tim Armstead will be remembered Tuesday during a public funeral service in the House of Delegates Chamber.

A visitation service will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for Armstead, 60, who died on August 26 following a battle with cancer. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m.

Armstead served in the House of Delegates for 20 years, becoming Speaker in 2015. In 2018, he was appointed to the Supreme Court and was re-elected in 2020 to a 12-year term.
