A group of talented young singers on the Isle of Wight are bringing festive joy to the community this December by performing Christmas songs for residents of care homes across the Island.
TrebleMakers IOW, a group made up of children aged six to 16, was founded by Sally Evans and her ten-year-old daughter Eliza, who, along with some of her school friends, wanted to spread some Christmas cheer.
Since September, the 17 young performers have been practising to perfect their collection of Christmas classics.
They aim to bring smiles to care home residents, many of whom may feel isolated during the festive season.

The children's performances include a mix of entertaining tunes and traditional songs designed to spark memories for older residents, including those living with memory-related conditions.
Alongside their singing, the TrebleMakers deliver beautifully decorated Christmas cards, handmade by the children, a festive decoration for each resident and a special gift for care home staff as a token of gratitude for their hard work.
The group have already visited three residential and nursing homes, with five more scheduled this week.
Sally said: "Going off the figures provided by the homes, by the time we complete our visits, we estimate we'll have spread festive cheer to almost 200 elderly residents!
"All of the homes we've visited so far have given such lovely feedback, and all of them have invited us back to spend time with the residents, which the children are excited to do next year.
"We were also invited to perform the closing song at the recent Mountbatten Hospice Light for a Life service, which was an absolute privilege."
TrebleMakers has been made possible thanks to the support of local businesses and community members.
SPS Restaurants, the McDonald's franchise on the Island, sponsored the group by providing logo hoodies and T-shirts for the children.
Additionally, a generous donation from a grandparent of two group members helped cover the cost of public liability insurance and DBS checks for volunteers.
Sally added: "I'm so incredibly proud of these children. They rehearse every week, and each time they give 100 per cent to make the performances special and to see the interactions between the children and the residents is just magical.
"The TrebleMakers IOW are spreading happiness and bringing generations together... one song at a time.
"I can't wait to see what 2025 brings for TrebleMakers IOW!"
TrebleMakers rehearse at the Ocean View Hotel in Shanklin on Tuesdays from 4.30pm to 6pm.
