Elon Musk Re-Ignites Farage Feud With Attack On His Mass Deportation Plan

Elon Musk has re-ignited his feud with Nigel Farage by attacking his plan for the mass deportation of immigrants.

The tech billionaire said the Reform UK leader was "weak sauce who will do nothing".

Musk and Farage were once close allies, but their relationship collapsed in January when the X owner called him him to be replaced as Reform leader.

Musk's comments, in a post on X, came after Farage pledged that a Reform government would deport 600,000 illegal immigrants in five years if it wins the next election.

Under "operation restoring justice", Farage said he would withdraw the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and other international treaties to stop "activist judges" blocking his plans.

Farage said Reform would also revive the Tories' failed Rwanda plan, while also paying the likes of Afghanistan and Iran to take back their asylum seekers.

But Musk - who now claims to support the far-right Advance UK party - said the plan did not go far enough

He said: "Advance UK will actually drive change. Farage is weak sauce who will do nothing."

In a separate post earlier on Tuesday, Musk said: "Unfortunately, the reality is that Farage will do almost nothing to protect Britain. That is obvious."

Responding to Musk's comments, Reform deputy leader Richard Tice told the BBC's Newsnight programme: "We're leading in all the national polls. You can be friendly with someone and not agree with them on everything.

"We've had our agreements with Elon Musk, who's a brilliant entrepreneur. I enjoy many of his fine products. But sometimes you can disagree with friends."
