Cody Rhodes Rocks Winged Eagle Belt At Saturday Night's Main Event

Major Incident Takes Place At TNA Final Resolution 2024 - Fan Slaps Eddie Edwards (Video)

Cody Rhodes is still your Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after successfully defending his title against Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event.

As expected, Rhodes entered the arena with the iconic "Winged Eagle" belt, a version of the WWE title once held by legends like Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The belt was retired in 1998.

During the match, referee Charles Robinson was knocked out after Owens shoved Rhodes into him. As Owens then tried to use a chair, Rhodes dodged the shot and instead executed a Cross Rhodes onto the chair. Robinson recovered just in time to count the pin.

Cody Rhodes' first reign as WWE Champion stands at 251 days.
