Taylor Swift's Entire Charting Discography Is On The Rise

Taylor Swift's Entire Charting Discography Is On The Rise

Almost every week, Taylor Swift dominates the albums chart in the United Kingdom. Sometimes, she rules by sitting at No. 1. In many other instances, she proves her popularity by claiming the most real estate on the 100-spot list of the most-consumed full-lengths and EPs in the nation, whether she leads the charge or not.

This week, Swift manages both feats. She's back at No. 1 with her most recent bestseller, and she owns more spots than anyone else. Every single one of her albums that finds space on the main ranking is on the rise, as holiday shoppers push her many collections up the important and competitive tally.

Eight of Swift's full-lengths climb on the U.K. albums chart this week. One other popular release returns to the ranking as well, upping her total count of current placements to nine. That means she is responsible for nine percent of all the most successful full-lengths in the country at the moment.

Swift surges back to the throne with The Tortured Poets Department, her most recent full-length -- and it certainly is long. The historic release shoots from No. 16 to No. 1 following the release of the Anthology edition of the title on physical formats, which her fans have shown their preference for throughout the years. The Tortured Poets Department has now spent weeks on top of the tally.

The superstar fills four more spaces inside the top 40 on the U.K. albums chart, as more than half of her current wins are living inside the region. Folklore and Lover both rise just a single rung, settling at Nos. 31 and 36, respectively. Midnightsand 1989 (Taylor's Version) return to the special tier, pushing just a few spaces to land at Nos. 38 and 39, respectively.

Four more Swift projects take up space below the top 40 arena, and three of them push forward from where they sat last time around. Reputation (No. 45), Evermore (No. 48), and Red (Taylor's Version) (No. 83) all surge by at least seven slots, if not more.

Swift's sole comeback on the U.K. albums chart is another one of her re-recordings. Speak Now (Taylor's Version) returns to the list at No. 100, in last place.

All nine of those titles also appear on multiple other charts across the pond, including some based solely on purchases, as well as the Official Vinyl Albums tally. Several other releases by Swift, such as Fearless (Taylor's Version) and her self-titled debut, manage to find space on at least one list apiece, though not the main albums ranking.
