(UPI) A professional reptile wrangler was summoned to a South African home after a resident found a highly venomous cape cobra lurking underneath the pillow on their bed.

Stellenbosch Snake Removals posted a video to social media showing the scene that snake catcher Emile Rossouw was confronted with when he was called out to a Stellenbosch home.

Rossouw removed a highly venomous cape cobra from underneath the resident's pillow.

"Not something you want in your bed," Rossouw quips while handling the snake.

The African Snakebite Institute describes the cape cobra as "by far our most dangerous cobra and with the black mamba it accounts for the majority of fatal snake bites in South Africa."
