High Fructose, the FPS survivor auto shooter roguelite, is bringing its latest demo to PAX West 2025. It will give attendees a chance to experience its breakneck combat firsthand at Booth 745. Check out the gameplay trailer below to get a glimpse of the action ahead.

Developed by Chazak Games, the title blends the slicing chaos of Fruit Ninja, the parkour intensity of Ghostrunner, and the roguelite charm of Brotato. Players take control of animal ninjas locked in battle against hordes of corrupted, monstrous fruit, fighting to survive in lightning-fast first-person encounters. Each run throws players into new challenges, where reflexes and creativity combine with an interesting progression system.

"High Fructose is about pure adrenaline and tight combat," said Chris Cantero, Creative Director at Chazak Games. "I wanted to bring the intensity of my work on DOOM's Glory Kills into a roguelite where every encounter feels cinematic, satisfying, and fast. PAX West is the perfect place to show how far the game has come."

Alongside its fluid combat and executions, High Fructose introduces a recipe-based upgrade system. Players can use ingredients they gathered mid-battle to unlock new abilities and powers, giving them constant opportunities to experiment. A martial arts belt progression further expands the challenge, granting access to higher difficulties and fresh layers of mastery.

High Fructose will be coming out on PC, with console releases planned for the future. Steam users can wishlist the game now to follow its development. Last of all, be ready as the fight against corrupted fruit will begin soon.
