A paranormal investigation team is looking for people to come forward with their experiences of spooky phenomena or to see it for themselves.

The Haunted Living Paranormal Investigation and Research Team, based in Odiham, has been running since 2021, investigating unexplained phenomena and assisting in private cases.

Co-founder Payten Autumn is clairsentient, so she has a clear feeling when a spirit is there, and the team uses Dictaphones, EMF readers, spirit boxes and REM pods to communicate and deduce a presence.

Payten, a holistic practitioner, said: "I've had paranormal experiences since the age of five, It's a huge passion for me, it's a lifestyle. People can come knowing they're not going to get judged or laughed at, we're going to take it seriously.

"I could sit here forever and a day to try and convince you, but unless you experience it yourself, that's when you truly start believing."

The team are also inviting people to get in touch and come along with their investigations.

Holy Ghost Church in Basingstoke, Waverley Abbey in Surrey and Hartley Mauditt, an abandoned village near Alton, are hotspots which the team often visit.

Payten explained that one team member got an 'attachment' to a ghost when, on a visit to Hartley Mauditt, a spirit asked them to hold out their hand.

She said: "It's so active, you can always go there and have something happen.

"If you go anywhere, you have to protect yourself with crystals or meditation to surround yourself. She didn't do that, and when I turned round to look, she had this black shadow holding onto her. I had to get rid of it"

Payten detailed that there are different types of spirits. Poltergeists are group dynamics of negative stress, while intelligences are spirits that can move things and interact through encryption.

She explained that ghosts can be friendly, with the Holy Ghost Church haunted by Alice Blundon, who was buried alive, joining visitors for a walk around the grounds.

For private consultations, the team will visit the location and assess stresses in the house before 'finding out what's going on', keeping the process confidential.

Spirits can be removed by Payten, using a ritual which involves sage, salt and communication.

For general investigations, the group will document these on Facebook and TikTok and intends to hold events and collaborate with other paranormal teams next year.
