We are truly in the golden era of the One Piece manga, as Oda keeps surprising us with the way the events of the God Valley unfold before our eyes. Shakky has been successfully rescued, but there is more to this infamous incident apart from Shakky. For a long time, fans have been speculating that the secret ruler Imu was somehow involved in the God Valley incident. But we couldn't prove it until now, where Imu has finally descended to the God Valley island by taking control of the elder, Saint Saturn, in the One Piece manga.

While the Celestial Dragons and the God's Knights were having fun hunting down innocent people and the remnants of the Davy clan, it soon turned into a ground for battle royale with the arrival of Roger Pirates, Rocks Pirates, and Monkey D. Garp. As you remember from Kuma's tragic flashback, St. Saturn was also present during the events of the God Valley.

When the pirates are running amok on the God Valley island, Imu contacts St. Saturn through telepathic powers to enquire about Rocks D. Xebec's status. It seems as if Imu wants Rocks dead as soon as possible. However, Saint Saturn cryptically suggests that if they let this chaos continue, it may result in a risky situation where "something" gets unleashed. It is unclear whether they are referring to the risk of information about the Native Hunting Competition being leaked or a potential threat emerging within the Davy clan.

Since Imu can't let that happen, they thank the elder and immediately possess Saint Saturn's body, taking control of him just as Imu did with Gunko in the ongoing war at Elbaf. We have seen Saturn's awakened beast form, where he takes on the form of a spider x bull resembling the Ushi-oni, aka Gyuki demon, from Japanese folklore.

After Imu takes over his servant's body, a towering Imu silhouette merges on top of Saturn's awakened beast form. Imu, intertwined with Saint Saturn's terrifying beast form, is a scary sight to behold. It's becoming more evident that Imu the devil has made some sort of contract with their servants, and that is how they can freely take over their bodies. Even the greatest characters, such as Roger, Rocks, Whitebeard, Kaido, and Garp, have no idea what they are up against.

With Chapter 1162 ending on a massive cliffhanger, we can't wait to see the legends on a 5 vs 1 against Imu in the upcoming chapters. Since One Piece manga is going on a break after 1162, we will have to wait for a while to find out more about Imu's powers.
