On August 27th, Devsisters released the latest version of their city-building RPG Cookie Run: Kingdom. The newest update, titled "Premonition of Doom," has added three playable cookies, two legendary costumes, and significant gameplay adjustments.

The trailer for "Premonition of Doom" revealed the three new cookies added to the official Cookie Run: Kingdom roster. Menthol Cookie is an epic cookie belonging to the bomber class, while his in-game companion Seltzer Cookie matches his epic rarity but differs in her role as a support. Unlike the previous characters, the more elusive Doughael is a healing cookie with a super-epic rarity. As seen in the trailer, Doughael has their own gacha requiring a special currency in order to unlock and add them to your team.

In addition to the new cookies, the trailer reveals Golden Cheese Cookie's and Burning Spice Cookie's brand new legendary costumes titled "Virtual Genesis & Ruin." Similar to previous ancient and beast cookie pairs, Golden Cheese Cookie's and Burning Spice Cookie's legendary costumes share the same theme. In their matching costumes, Golden Cheese Cookie and Burning Spice Cookie have taken their battle to a new digital arena. Both characters have taken on more futuristic features, with Golden Cheese Cookie sporting a new electronic headset and spear while Burning Spice Cookie's axe has neon lights to match his new electric-blue hair.
