In the article, Hailey opens up about trying to "correct a narrative" amid public scrutiny
As part of Hailey's Vogue profile published on Tuesday, May 20, Justin, 31, told the outlet, "I've done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I've ever done was marry Hailey."
The couple tied the knot in 2018 with a civil ceremony in 2018 before celebrating with a star-studded wedding in 2019. On Aug. 23, 2024, the pair announced the arrival of their son, Jack Blues.
In the article, Justin also opened up about the online criticism that his wife faces. "She's in the spotlight, and has the attention because of her effortless knack for style, business, art and fashion," he says. "And the way she makes being a mom and wife look easy."
Hailey, for her part, says that she's "fought so hard to try to get people to understand me, or know who I am, or see me for me," adding, "and people just don't want to sometimes."
The Rhode founder, 28, explains that anytime she's tried to "correct a narrative," people accuse her of lying. Over the years, she's adopted her husband's philosophy when it comes to dealing with public scrutiny.
