Phoebe Litchfield becomes youngest to score a hundred in Women's World Cup knockout - Business Upturn

Phoebe Litchfield has entered the history books in Navi Mumbai, smashing a superb 101 vs India* in the 2025 Women's World Cup semifinal. Aged 22 years and 195 days, she is now the youngest batter to score a century in a Women's World Cup knockout match, and the second-youngest Australian to hit a ton in the tournament's history.

Litchfield brought up her maiden World Cup century with a charge down the pitch, lofting over mid-off to huge applause from the Australian camp. A warm embrace from Ellyse Perry followed as the dug-out rose to applaud the landmark innings.

A defining knock on the biggest stage -- and potentially a match-winner for Australia.
