Developer Kuro Games is back with another Resonator combat showcase for open-world action-RPG Wuthering Waves. The one at the center of attention is Augusta, the Ephor of Septimont and a fierce warrior ready to protect everything the sun shines on.

"And should the tide of fate stir once more, she will raise this sword and blaze through the night as the eternal sun."

Augusta is a 5-star Electro Broadblade resonator who debuts in Version 2.6: By Sun's Scourge, By Moon's Revelation. In the second half of the patch, she will be joined by Priestess Iuno (5-star Aero Gauntlets).

When Augusta wields her blade, electric currents the color of molten gold burst out of her and set all nearby iron objects trembling and whining. She is a bright sun that emerges to drive away an endless night, erasing all fears and doubts that have been born in the darkness.

Augusta is the undefeated gladiator in the arena and a fearless leader with a will of iron. She is a mere mortal, but has reached heights of glory attempted by only a few, and her blade speaks her power loud and clear.

From the latest Overture Quest, Rovers could learn a bit about her past from the traveling poet, Nestor. She has not always been a powerful gladiator, commanding respect. Once upon a time, Augusta was no more than a child left without a home, who'd arrived in Septimont looking for power. It was not a noble bearing or an overpowered Resonance skill that kept her going, but the sheer power of will.
