BCHS Eagles Soar to Championship Game with 4-0 Victory Over Edison Tigers

BAKERSFIELD, Calf. (KBAK/KBFX) -- The Bakersfield Christian High School (BCHS) Eagles secured their place in the championship game with a decisive 4-0 victory over the Edison Tigers.

The game remained scoreless until Maddison Misuraca launched a high fly to right field, putting the Eagles on the board with a 1-0 lead in the 4th inning.

Dakoda Hilvers followed with a deep hit to left-center field, adding another home run and extending the lead to 3-0.

Tia Nichols then hit a hard shot down the left field line, marking the Eagles' third home run of the game and bringing the score to 4-0.

Anabell Hinojosa delivered an outstanding performance on the mound, pitching a shutout game with 12 strikeouts and allowing only four hits.

The Eagles' victory will now head to Fresno to compete against Monache.
